- About to WRHEE 2024- The 2024 International Conference on Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering and Energy Technology is about to be grandly held, bringing together top scholars, engineers, and industry leaders from around the world to seek the future development of the water resources and hydropower field. This conference will delve into the latest technological advancements in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of water conservancy and hydropower projects, including but not limited to efficient utilization of water resources, dam safety and monitoring, application of new materials for hydraulic structures, intelligent transformation of hydropower stations, and ecological restoration and protection of rivers. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, technical forums, and case sharing, the conference will promote academic exchange and cooperation, and drive technological innovation and achievement transformation. In addition, the conference will also focus on the role of water conservancy and hydropower projects in addressing climate change, promoting regional economic development, and ensuring energy security, and explore how to build a green, low-carbon, and sustainable development model for water conservancy and hydropower. The attendees will jointly explore the integration path of water conservancy and hydropower engineering with energy technology, contributing to the realization of global energy transformation and sustainable development goals. All full paper submissions to the WRHEE 2024 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of WRHEE 2024 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to wrhee@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference. Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
